About Triple S Quail Farm
How We Came to Be
In 2002, Thomas and Chris Stockburger decided that they wanted to take their 20+ years of poultry farming experience and go in a bit of a different direction. After talking it over, they landed on raising and selling bobwhite quail to hunters and nearby hunting preserves. They started with just 12,000 birds in a semi-retrofitted post frame chicken house built in the 1950's. By 2004 they had moved the bobwhite operation into retrofitted poultry houses and started raising ringneck pheasant, as well as guiding their own hunts.
Every year since we have upped our production, and at the close of the 2021/22 season we finished having raised 160,000 bobwhites. We are committed to continuing our mission of raising high quality birds for all of our customers, whether they are a big operation or a single hunter.
Committed to Excellence
We are very proud of what we have built over the past 20 years. We are very involved in every step along the way in regards to our birds and are extremely calculated in the way that we raise our flocks; we grind our own feed, hand feed our chicks, and take very good care of our houses to ensure that our birds are in excellent condition for our hunters.
Along with the care we take to ensure quality birds, we also make sure our facilities are maintained. Our fields are manicured to ensure proper cover for birds, our dogs are very well taken care of, and our farm is ideal for keeping birds all season long.

He has been an avid hunter all of his life and trains bird dogs when he's not hunting. Mark was born and raised in Knoxville, TN and has lived in Ringgold for 12 years. He is a proud father to a 16-year-old and loves to spend time with his son outdoors hunting, fishing, and trail riding. One of his fondest memories as a guide was when he had three generations hunting together, the eldest being 87 who was a dead ringer despite having to shoot one-handed!
